Sustainable Raritan River Initiative

Photo of the Albany Street Bridge over the Raritan River.

The Raritan River is New Jersey's largest watershed, supplying drinking water, transporation, and recreation opportunities for over one million residents. In collaboration with the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University, CUES supports efforts to improve the river's environmental quality through identification of existing data gaps and future community needs.
