Alexis Lo is a landscape designer and Lecturer in the Rutgers Department of Landscape Architecture, where she connects academic learning with real-world application. She holds a MLA from Rutgers University. As a part of her design work, Alexis has developed community-forward and ecologically sustainable master plans and site analyses reports for institutional campuses including the Princeton Forrestal Campus, Rutgers Golf Course, and the Princeton Theological Seminary. For the past 10 years, Alexis has worked as a design consultant and associate manager for a plant nursery in Princeton combining horticultural expertise with creative landscape design. Her service includes volunteering on the NJASLA Diversity Initiative Committee, where she workshops with community groups and advocates for inclusive and accessible design that reflects the diverse voices within New Jersey. Alexis is a passionate plant enthusiast, gardener, and forager with a deep understanding of woodland ecology.
