In close collaboration with the Closter Environmental Commission, we are preparing an Environmental Resource Inventory (ERI). The ERI provides an overview of the town's environmental assets but can just as importantly be used to identify challenges and opportunities for planning improvements. To be effective, the ERI must be in-depth and current. Closter's most recent ERI was produced in 1994.
Our focus is on providing updated data and information about the borough's environmental assets and challenges, and futher to develop the ERI as a modern, public-facing, interactive planning tool using current interactive web-based mapping technologies. In addition to a traditional printed ERI document and large format presentation board for public display, CUES will develop an interactive online version.
