Rutgers Climate Bridge Panel 6: The Impact on Land
Abstract
We have seen from Hurricane Ida that flooding and its destruction does not discriminate by income and race; but we also know day to day impacts of climate change and lack of preparation and recovery resources, as well as water transport of harmful toxics and sewage are much more acute and long lasting in Black and Brown communities. How can we change this dynamic and get results?
