John Hayton is a graduate of the Master of Landscape Architecture program at Rutgers University (2020). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (2016) at Allegheny College and briefly worked in the environmental remediation field as a Staff Scientist before attending Rutgers University to pursue Landscape Architecture.
As a graduate student, John completed a master’s Thesis exploring the challenge of greenway design along the Hackensack River in Bergen County. John began assisting CUES in 2018 where he provided technical experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for projects in Perth Amboy and Bergen County. John joined CUES full-time upon graduating to help develop a regional landscape plan for Middlesex County. John brings skills acquired from his landscape architecture, environmental science, and technical GIS experience to inform environmental planning and design decisions in CUES Projects.
